WHILE OTHERS HESITATE, THE SAMURAI TAKE ACTION
Master Discipline and Focus in 21 Days
The Samurai Way

I kept breaking promises to myself.
Wake up early? Failed
Workout daily? Skipped
Achieve a new ''challenge'' Forget it
At first, I thought I was lazy.
But over time, I realised I wasn't lazy - I was undisciplined.
Not because I lacked motivatation...
but because I had no structure, no path, and no code
That's when I turned to Bushido..
And it changed everything!

THE AUTHOR
William Wood
Dear Reader,
My name is William, and I'm based in London, UK, but I spent part of my life in Japan — and that’s where I discovered Bushido, the ancient samurai code. It hit me hard.
The discipline. The honour. The clarity.
It was everything I felt was missing in the modern world — and in myself.
Since then, I’ve spent years learning and living those principles, mixing them with what actually works in today’s crazy, fast-paced life.
I created Bushido: The Samurai Path to Success to share what I’ve learned — not as some guru, but as a man who wanted more from life… just like you.
If this book helps you sharpen your mind, build your discipline, and find real strength — then it’s done what it was meant to do.

“Better than 90% of what I’ve read on discipline.”
I've read Atomic Habits, Can’t Hurt Me, all of it. This one's different — it’s poetic, but practical. You don’t just learn to ‘do stuff.’ You learn how to be someone. Powerful shift.
— Stefan M., 35, Glasgow
“This book hit me like a katana to the gut — in a good way.”
I’ve struggled with procrastination for years. I tried apps, goal setting, all that noise. But Bushido made it feel different. It’s not just self-help stuff — it’s like being mentored by a warrior. Been waking up at 6am, journaling daily, and I’ve even started training again.
— James T., 33, Sydney
“I didn’t expect a philosophy book to help me get my life together — but it did.”
Was skeptical at first. But the way it blends ancient samurai values with modern problems… man, it makes you think. I’m not just ‘doing tasks’ now — I’m acting with purpose. Massive respect to the author.
— Darryl K., 41, London
“The Journal of Honour changed how I start my day.”
Honestly, I bought it for the main book, but the journal bonus turned out to be the gem. Having that structured check-in every morning and evening made me way more consistent. Feels like I’m building something, not just surviving.
— Ahmed R., 29, Toronto
Men Today are Lost in Comfort
We scroll more than we act. We make excuses instead of making progress. Discipline is seen as optional — until life breaks us.
Courage isn’t loud anymore.
It’s not men charging into battle — it’s men avoiding the battle altogether:
Our world tells men to be “safe,” “sensitive,” and “silent.”
But inside, many feel numb, uncertain, and passive — secretly haunted by the sense that they were meant for more.
Courage has been replaced with comfort.
And comfort, when overdone, becomes a slow death.
But 700 years ago, a warrior class faced the same inner battles — fear, doubt, emotion. They won. Because they lived by Bushido — a code that demanded discipline, purpose, loyalty, and self-mastery.
Bushido isn’t just philosophy — it’s a code that reshapes how you show up in the world.
When you begin to apply its seven core virtues, everything shifts:
The way you respond to pressure.
The way you communicate in relationships.
The way you carry yourself — even when no one’s watching.
Men who commit to this path often feel it within days:
More focused. More grounded. More in control.
Not because life gets easier — but because they get stronger.

Miyamoto Musashi was only 13 years old when he killed his first opponent — a samurai from a neighboring village. But the interesting part wasn't his age — it was that the only weapon Musashi had was a wooden training sword.
It took him just a minute to defeat his opponent. He struck him in the throat so hard that the samurai died, vomiting blood.
Shortly after, Musashi set off on a journey, hoping one day to become the greatest sword master in Japan.
He wasn’t even 20 years old when his fame began to spread far and wide. He had killed many, but even that wasn’t enough — he needed to become greater and greater. So he started fighting with two swords — a technique previously unknown. And he defeated some of Japan’s best duelists.
Then he faced his most fearsome opponent — Sasaki Kojiro. Musashi quickly defeated him. But after the duel, he decided he would never again fight to the death, so as not to erase more masters from the world.
Years later, feeling old age and death approaching, he withdrew to a cave in 1645 and wrote his famous *Book of Five Rings*, which remains an essential text on classical Japanese sword dueling to this day.
He is a true example of a warrior who lived by the code of Bushido — as did all other samurai.
"Bushido, as an independent ethical code, may disappear, but its power will not vanish from the earth; the schools of martial arts or common honor may be destroyed, but its light and greatness will long outlive their ruins." – Inazo Nitobe
These are not just archaic ideals, but living values even today. They are practiced by many, and we too can apply them in our lives to live more meaningfully and fully.
They remind us that true strength is not just in physical power, but in moral resilience and the ability to follow our principles and personal path.
Because today the world is fast, strange, and alienating. Principles are often blurred, boundaries unclear, and our behavior undefined. So if you need clarity and direction — a path toward something better for your growth that will lead you to success — take the first step on the "Path of the Warrior."
This philosophy unites qualities we rarely encounter today. From ancient Japan to the present day, they remain a guide for an honorable, courageous life lived with loyalty and determination.
The courage once shown in battle now means making hard decisions, preserving our dignity, setting high moral standards, and not fearing the unknown or failure. The warrior's courage remains the same, whether on a battlefield or in a modern office building.
The same applies to the other principles. That’s why in this book, we will explore how to apply Bushido in our everyday lives. How to become modern warriors who bravely follow their eternal code and achieve success in their personal or business journeys...
